The big move is on! After a term of working out of temporary studios (ATCO transportables) and watching the builders slowly work their way through the later stages of the renovation project, we get to move into our new building and studios at ACSA today. While we won't be able to work in there over the term break (2 weeks) we do get to move in, set up the space and get familiar with the new surroundings today and tomorrow.
I see this as a good chance to photograph all my work, review progress and prepare myself for the presentation and critiques starting on the first week back. This will also give me more photos to post in my Gallery.

I was very excited to find out that no one had registered my relatively common name as an Australian website and so www.paulperry.com.au is now mine and it's where I will make my virtual presence as an emerging artist know.
This free Weebly.com proforma website was incredibly easy to use as a start up and after just 2 hours work what you see is what I was able to cobble together. There's a lot of work required yet to take good photos of my work and get them uploaded to the site. But I have a couple of weeks holidays coming up soon and that will be one of my projects to do. Anyway, it's now back to the studio to work on the silicone molds of my face cast and the clay maquette ... |
Paul Perry - ArtistAs an emerging artist I am excited about this journey of exploration into the world of visual arts. This is my first foray into blogging and thought it would be an interesting complement to my visual arts experience. I'd love you to join me on the journey and to share your thoughts and experiences too. ArchivesCategories |
